Please note that general tip recommendations can be found in the chart below. For safety reasons, only pair this spray gun with AAA Pumps that generate a maximum 2500 psi working pressure or less. Solvent & Water Base Coating Applications – Chart
The tips best suited for water-based coatings are the opti-tip series (ex. 36-XXX-F) with the “F” connotation after the tip part #. They incorporate a pre-orifice to double shear the water-base coating which assists in a finer atomization.
